View Full Version : xPhone - Bluetooth Profile called 'SmartPhone'

Currently, if the Bluetooth is switched on, this phone appears as "SmartPhone" on other people's devices. If there are 2 or more people using xPhone, ALL of them will appear as 'SmartPhone'. Does anyone know how to change it? With some Nokia phones, you can rename your Bluetooth profile to be, say 'Tom'. Thus, the device appears as 'Tom' in the list of bluetooth devices that are in range. Any similar functionality in xPhone?

Appreciate your response :)

Anuraag, was hoping that someone with XPhone would answer this query.

I dont have one, but I would guess that if it is not in the Settings menu, then it maybe hidden in the Accessories menu, like say Accessories->Bluetooth or Accessories->Configuration. Just a guess. Please do post your findings here.

Kris, I tried all settings but in vain. I really hope some xPhone user who has figured this out will reply.

Thanks
