I don't know about you, but I am getting really sick of all the leaked photo's for the MPx220. The phone has yet to be announced by Motorola or any carrier and there are pictures popping up all over the Internet (<a href="http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-mpx220.shtml">Here</a> are the latest; Thanks to <a href="http://www.mpx200.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=1564">MGN</a>). I am really starting to like the way Orange handled the C500. We had one leak of a couple pictures and that was maybe 1 or 2 weeks before they announced the device. The MPx220 has been talked about for ages. I seem to recall someone talking about the MPx220 shortly after the MPx200 was released. And let us not forget that CoolSmartphone has had <a href="http://www.coolsmartphone.com/index.php?option=news&task=viewarticle&sid=648">pictures of the MPx220</a> online since the middle of February. Four months later, and we are still getting leaked pictures that show the exact same phone. It's not like anything has changed. Announce the phone already. Give us an idea of when, where, how much, Tri or Quad band, etc...

Maybe they have boatloads of MPx200's that they're afraid they won't be able to sell if they annouce the MPx220? That's about the only 'logical' thing I can think of.

Suppose they share you the complete spec. and you like it very much, but the phone itself will not be launched for another 6 months or so ... isn't that more painful ? =)

That's my point, they shouldn't be showing it off 6 months before it's released. They have to learn how to keep it under wraps a little better.

Everyone remember the Voq? Prime example here. IMHO, the Voq has lost it's edge for this very reason.
