Does anyone know of a way to interact with their hotmail accounts via an MS smartphone? The hotmail site doesn't seem to support it (unless there is a mobile version I don't know about) and Inbox doesn't support Hotmail's HTTP/WEBDAV mail protocol.

Is there another way? Has anyone written an app that does this?

I'm not sure if anyone has created an application for it. But you can get access to Hotmail from a mobile device. It's not free that's all. Try this URL (http://mobile.msn.com/Ruhp.aspx). Not sure that it will work.

Yeah, it keeps taking me to the pocket PC version and then returns a 404 when I sign in.

I normally think it's disrespectful to boast about competing sites in the forums, but Modaco.com has a Hotmail service available to Plus Members. It allows you to receive hotmail directly in your smartphone inbox.

Maybe you already know this...

On your smartphone go to http://mobile.msn.com

And stay logged in there or save that screen...

Also setup mobile MSN to send you an SMS whenever you get a hotmail message.

I know they are coming out with the Pocket MSN app pretty soon...they advertize it ..but no binay yet..so far vaporware...
