You hook the device to your TV, record up to two hours of video onto a 128Mb SD card, then pop the card out and plug it into your high tech phone."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/plastic.302.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />It does not appear that this solution will work with Smartphones. However, this is currently achievable using various applications and multiple steps. It would be very nice to see a simply solution like this for the Windows Mobile market. :D

Send this to PPCT and DMT and we'll figure out how to get this on a smart phone. (not knocking anyone but it seems worthy of a cross-site triple post)

We don't have the ability to cross post yet. However, it is being worked on, and hopefully we will see this feature soon. It has been sent to the other sites, and it will get posted if they feel that there is enough interest. :)

As for getting it to work on a Smartphone, I'm sure that there are ways to convert the file it produces allowing it to play, but that defeats the beauty of this solution. No Fuss - No Muss. I can already rip shows and encode them to play on my phone, I don't because it's too much of a hassle and it just takes too long.
