No problem. Here's $40 along with a brand new MPx200, and all you have to do is sign a 2 year contract. :) Buy.com is offering a $150 rebate combined with AT&T Wireless $90 rebate. The MPx200 is listed at $199.99 which means you pocket $40. 8O Way to go Buy.com and AT&T.

Ya, sorry buddy. This deal requires activation with AT&T Wireless which will be a little hard for any non-American to do. So while it is a good deal, I'm a little peeved that no Canadian carrier even offers a phone, let alone paying me $40 and giving me a Smartphone.

$40 in the pocket would be a good deal...

Until you mention the part about the 2yr contract with AT&T. PERSONALLY I would chew off my own leg to get away from AT&T, so is this a good deal indeed? My answer is NO! I would gladly pay $200 for this phone as long as I could get it with no strings attached to AT&T.

Guys look beyond the deal... (which is good - OK only for US people and those willing to put up with ATT for a couple of years)...Why would they be "dumping" their inventory?

Trying to stop the blood loss (folks fleeing from ATT) would be one reason
but,
could it be...
to make room for the Mpx220?

The wishful me thinks that they will be doing this promo for about a month then sometime in June announce the updated hardware.

oh please oh please...

I thought about that. However it's only buy.com that has the huge rebate. If you check Amazon the price of the phone is still $70 after rebates. My thoughts are it's not Motorola dumping the phone, but Buy.com trying to drum up business.

Plus, I don't expect this phone to disappear when the 220, or other Motorola models are released. I think this will be kept around as an intro model for a while.
