View Full Version : Did T9 Forget 0?

This has been driving me nuts. I love T9 - except when I need to input numbers. Yes, I can switch over to numeric mode, but then I have to switch back to T9 mode - I'm too lazy for that :D Now, numbers 1 through 9 are okay. Press the key, press the next key until the number shows up. But what about 0? On the MPx200, the next key is the 0 key. If you press it, nothing happens. If you hold it down, you get a +. How the heck do you type a 0 using T9? Anyone?
You switch to ABC mode to enter it, and then go back :(
It does seem like there is consistency in how T9 is implemented across phone models for things like entering spaces, selecting word matches, etc. Unfortuantely you probably need to *gasp* read the phone manual :)

I think this is a Microsoft Smartphone only issue since I've not had the problem with any other T9 enabled phone I've used.

Don't tempt me... I've been staring at the pictures of it on Arne's website trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger.

Simple solution..
Switch to capital T9 and use the 'Oh' from MNO..problem solved.
Wondering if anyone else uses this trick.
