Does this require Smartphone 2003? (sigh)

Yup, it requires .NET CF, which means Smartphone 2003. Sucks, doesn't it? .NET is easy for developers, but frustrating for users who don't have it and can't get it.

Doesn't this depend on the site? Too many will just let you take headlines. :?

True, but a Smartphone is a connected device, so I think the assumption is that you'll click and get the story.

True, some only give you the subject or a brief description. But the good ones (http://www.thoughtsmedia.com) put everything in.

Seriously, only a few of my feeds provide nothing more than the subject. The majority supply at least a brief description and a link allowing you open PIE and get the rest of the story.

True, but then it may be a full blown web page with all sorts of images. I like to use Pocket RSS on my Pocket PC and it works via the cradle as well as with a direct connection, sort of like an Avantgo client, except it isn't slow, a memory hog and it works. :D

Yeah, that's true - you'd really need to have a mobile site to go along with that link for things to work properly.
