Add on a GPS receiver and IntelliGolf users will be able to accurately view distances from tee-to-green using its latest IntelliGPS(TM) technology. SRP: $29.95/$39.95. Shipments will begin the end of April."<br /><br />Most golfers I know are nuts about this kind of stuff and will buy almost anything that could help give them a little edge over others. In my opinion, unless you are a professional or really close to it, this is a little over the top. However, the GPS plug-in is kind of cool.

But doesn't this defeat the purpose of going to a golf course any? not to get a call on your phone?

I suppose if you shut the phone off -

It is a bit over the top and I have to agree a GPS add on is just way cool.
