In fact I would hazard a guess that the typical "wired" headsets weigh in at more than this cool new device. I can't imagine this has much of a battery, but you really can't expect much of a battery when it's this small and light. It should be on sale later this year, and there is no mention of price at this time. they're finally tapping into the realm of hearing aide technology... miniaturization of said equipment has been in place for YEARS.

Just getting the bluetooth transceiver aspect was needed.

It's a great step!

Makes you wonder what the secret service guys are using.

I heard word and saw photos of this weeks ago on another site I frequent, and Lars (chief engineer from Nextlink) said that it's analog and that they couldn't fit the digital components that you'd find in their Digital Bluespoon into it.

Although it's very cool and so incredibly small, I'm sticking with my Digital Bluespoon. The DBS is already so small and amazing, so I'm very happy with it. Although I couldn't imagine how small this analog unit would be. Really amazing.
