An investment of $9.5-million in research and development was announced Thursday by Lucienne Robillard, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec. The investment is in the Technology Partnership Canada, which is part of a $33.7-million project being undertaken by Sierra Wireless Inc. to develop technologies that provide business people with productivity tools based on the wireless communications device."<br /><br />Nice to see my government putting some money into a Smartphone project. :-)
