But talks of boycotting, or even the few that will boycott won't fix the problem. The fix is going to be when Apple puts enough pressure on their suppliers. I'm with the author, and he makes a valid point. So if you do choose to boycott you better be ready to boycott a lot of different types of products, because Apple is not the only company that has suppliers with less than stellar working conditions. They are just the latest company to get hit with the bad press.&nbsp;</p>

Apple always has had a more progressive slant, haven't they? If there's a company that can make a breakthrough in worker conditions, it probably is them, barring stockholder concerns.

And why stop at tech. Might as well start being criticle about the food you eat and the clothes you wear. Even conditions in this country aren't stellar in many of those industries. It's an economic reality though, people shop based on cost, cost is reduced by reduced pay and working conditions, Those in turn reduce purchasing power for the employees, making them more cost conscious.
