Note taking software?

Anyone have any software that is useful for taking short notes? On my i600 I've used the e-mail program and the voice recorder to make notes to myself but I'd like something a bit more user friendly. Ideas?

I used Smartphone notes for a while, seemed to work pretty well for me. I stopped using it because I didn't really ever need to take any notes on my phone. (use my Tablet PC for that) :-) Still, pretty nice piece of software -

But it will not work with the i600. I wonder if anyone has used anything else for short notes.
