Thanks a lot for the tips...

Power Calender will be a must.
Connected Bits Weather looks like a very fine piece of software, but I see it's onlky for the US. I am in South Africa, so might pass on that one.
E-Wallet also will be a must.
Repligo looks very promising.
SmartyCalc I won't be needing.

SP Task Manager I already have installed, and I'm loving it.
Pocketstars I must have.
McTraveller I wonder also how South African coverage would be.
Mapopolis also seems not too have South African support, only Western Europe, US and Canada.

But again thx for the apps.

btw, Are there any Flash players available for the Smartphone OS?

No Flash Player yet. Macromedia is being a real PITA about it! A real shame!

McTraveller I wonder also how South African coverage would be.

I tried McTraveller and despite it is a very good app (very much like WorldMate for Pocket PC and Palm OS, but less complete) it is very Westernized in the sense that it has been designed either in Europe or in the USA:
Which means that many regions of the world are not covered, South Africa (at least when I tried it 2 or 3 weeks ago) being one of them.
To the contrary to WorldMate which was designed in Israel, I believe:
being out of the 'centers of the world', they know there are more than one center!! :?

My previous response re: McTraveller was wrong and I must correct it:
It is possible to add almost as many cities as you want, as long as you have a GPRS coonection (on-line update).

I re-installed the apps and it works fine.
I could add those non-basic Western cities that were missing.
You can also update their weather and all!

Again, it is a very good app (on the heavy side: I would recommend to install it on your storage SD card), but not as intuitive as WorldMate, still not available for the Smartphone platform.
(What the guys at MobiMate - makers of WorldMate - are waiting for? I've got their app installed on all my devices running all the currently exsiting OS- for testing purposes, I've got one of each - for me, this is the best app of the type!)
