Featuring the same robust functionality found in Intellisync's award-winning enterprise suite of products, Intellisync Mobile Suite for Wireless Operators offers a single solution for virtually all customer segments: mobile professionals, small- to medium-sized businesses and enterprises. Intellisync is demonstrating the software in booth 3169, Hall B4, at the CTIA Wireless event, March 22-24.<br /><br />Intellisync Mobile Suite for Wireless Operators offers true network-based push email and PIM synchronization, file access and security for a broad set of wireless devices including Microsoft Windows Mobile for Pocket PC and Smartphone, Palm OS, Symbian OS, and wireless tablet PCs or laptops. The solution is optimized for performance over a broad array of wireless network technologies including CDMA, GSM/GPRS, EV-DO, EDGE and WiFi networks."<br /><br />There are several different models for this software. To start they have a small client that can run on one users desktop and redirect / sync with your mobile device. All the way up to a Server based application that can be run for the enterprise or hosted for your company. It's really nice to see so much activity in this area. Between Good, RIM, and Intellisync we are sure to have an affordable push email solution for the average user and not just a corporate solution.

This would be cool! Kinda replaces that old MS application - MOM I think - that would do the same thing - you could set up profiles on it and direct your desktop to forward the email (based on profile and rules you create) to your mobile phone. MS stopped supporting that I think when the built it into exchange and some sort of communications server you had to buy - which sucks if you are in the corp world and the IS department doesn't want to support that feature.

I'm glad that intellisync picked that up!

I just got off the phone with Intellisync and they're telling me that you would have to purchase at least 25 licenses at 4K! Aparrently its only for business users right now unless your set-up through Verizon. The guy was telling me that they have a deal with Verizon right now where you can add Intellisync on your plan for a low price every month.
