Argh! There's no pictures of the back so there's no way to tell if it has a camera or not. Either way that joystick is looking sweet. Question is whether its a lower end device or just an alternative to the clamshell MPx220. Time will tell... These new Motorola Smartphones look amazing. It just stinks we are going to have to wait months to get them.

Looks like a Sony Ericsson T616 :D (Probably not, but I like that forum factor - it looks chunky and holdable)

Not that much !
Look at this picture.
It really looks like it is not bigger than a SE T610 / T630 !
Surely my next Windows Smartphone.

That's not really a fair comparison. We can't take the MPx100 picture and just line it up against the SPV. There is no specs on the MPx100 so there is no way to know the measurements and the scale of the picture.

Moto is finally getting on a decent design bandwagon - I recall when Nokia and Sony had this wrapped up tight - nice to see the competition

Smart Thinking Edupin...

I think its safe to assume that the screen size is the same across smartphones.

Wow...with that comparison shot, I think the phone can be a good alternative to the clamshell design(though width might be an issue)..more because of the joystick. I have the current Mx200 and i600 pad.

Wrong ! The comparison is based on the screen size which is exactly the same on both devices (it is the standard 2,2 inches Windows Smartphone screen).
So the rest of the phone just fits to the same scale.
To the contrary I think it is a very fair and good comparison (I did not make it, it comes from www.msmobilenews.com)
(sorry for my english :( )

Does anyone remember seeing the ill-fated Sendo Smartphone? This MPx100 looks quite a bit like the Sendo...

If you assume that the screen is the standard 2.2 inches, then yes this works. My only concern is all the new hardware we saw released last week. Who's to say that this phone uses the standard screen size. We saw the Mitac with a screen that has the color depth of nothing we have seen in the Windows Mobile world before. We've also seen the MPx-220, and the MPx-300. With the MPx-300 being some of the best new designs we've seen, ever!

Since we know nothing about the MPx100, it may very well be a smaller 1.8 inche screen. We don't really know anything about the device. That's all I'm thinking.
