infrared synch

I currently synch outlook with the cradle or through Mobile Information Server and would now like to know if it is possilbe to use infrared. I know that I can synch files but just don't know if it will work with Active synch to synch outlook...

I've synced via IR so it works.

What I couldn't get to work was a beam of a contact from a Siemens SX56 to my mpx200. The contact wasn't received after multiple tries.

Yes, it works fine. I do it frequently if I need to sync immediately and don't have the cable handy. You do have to start the sync manually. Open ActiveSync on the phone then line up your IR ports. Click "Menu" then "Connect via IR"

It does work...just go to programs and syng, then select menu and sync with infrared
