Strange character in display

I have a strange character that appears intermittently in the outside display of my i600. It looks like a forward slash at the far left hand side of the second line of the display. It appears often while the phone is in the cradle and sometimes appears just as I touch the phone (static?). Any Ideas? I have a picture of the display, is there a way to post it to this forum?

I've learned to live with it, it doesn't really bother me. It happens very seldom anyway. I can't figure out WHAT triggers it though. Maybe I'll use it as a reason someday to get a replacement.

That is exactly what it looks like. I can make it happen by putting the phone in the cradle and then touching the case (while sitting at my desk at work). It must be a static electricity issue or something? I think I will wait until the 2003 operating system comes out and then try to return it.
