The device, which runs Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system, has a USP in that it boasts a full QWERTY keyboard that users access by pulling open the flap on the front of the phone that also houses its numeric keypads. The handset features a 200MHz processor, 32MB of RAM, a 200x176 pixel colour screen, and an SD expansion card slot. While cut-down versions of Microsoft applications like Internet Explorer and Outlook are included there is however no integrated digital camera or Bluetooth."

I wonder if this is true or just another rumor. There is no mention of this on the Sierra (http://www.sierrawireless.com) web site or on the VOQ (http://www.voq.com) web site. Back when the VOQ was first announced I signed to be notified when it becomes commercially available. I have not got an email on this.

Sounds like it is someone's wish more than it's the truth.

Even if it is true, and despite the cool keyboard, without Bluetooth this thing is a non-starter for me.While it couldn't be said a year ago, Bluetooth has become the defacto expansion/connection mechanism for small smart devices and it will only become more so through this year.

I'd rather wait on the MPx220 or even the Treo 610, assuming any of those rumors turn out to be true.

It's funny that you mention Bluetooth. Until recently, I had no use for it. My laptop was the only device that had it. But since I got my new iPaq with bluetooth, I have to reconsider buying something without Bluetooth in it. Aside from some small issues, it's been a really nice expereince.

This phone marks a tough desicsion. Does the hide-away keyboard out weight the benefits of a cableless sync? I'm not sure. I think I'll have to hold one in my hands and see before I can make that judgement. :D
