Woo hoo!

Verizon is pretty careful about rolling out new stuff -- here's hoping they've had it in testing for a while already.

See this: http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/samsung_to_upgrade_the_i600_to_smartphone_2003.php

Now will Verizon also do the same?

What does it matter if Samsung will sell the upgrade it to us directly?

"if Samsung will sell it directly to us" is a big question.

"if Samsung will sell it directly to us" is a big question.

Maybe I'm missreading the article you linked, but I thought it said that Samsung will provide the upgrade to existing owners.

No that is what it said I'm just applying a bit of cowboy doubt to it. My guess is that they will look to Verizon to make the final decision about "if and how".

Which is a scary thought. Even the corporate stores are completely clueless about the i600.
