Check this out:<br /><br />"With Powerpoint Remote 2004 you can: start a Powerpoint Presentation, which is opened in Powerpoint (Joystick up), next (Joystick right), previous (Joystick left), end Presentation (Joystick down)."<br /><br />Not for the faint of heart, but it looks fairly simple to install and get working - I love the idea of being able to use a Smartphone to control a PowerPoint presentation. Right now it's only working on Smartphone 2003, and you have to have the eVB runtimes installed. You also need Bluetooth on your Smartphone, because it looks like it uses ActiveSync as the conduit - which really limits the range. Suddenly WiFi on my Smartphone seems like a great idea. ;-) I don't have a Bluetooth Smartphone to test this out with, but I'd really like to hear from someone how well this app works. Give it a try and let us know!

cool - good to see this arriving to the Smartphone palatform...

they should take a look at how the Salling Clicker (http://homepage.mac.com/jonassalling/Shareware/Clicker/index.html) has implemented the same concept on the Mac - from a Bluetooth enabled Sony Ericsson handset or Palm OS device you can drive Powerpoint or Keynote presentations - even sends the relevant notes for each slide to the screen of the device as you go through the presentation - also displays a handy timer on screen

have used it anytime I've given a presentation - especially about what Bluetooth can do - always helps to have a practical demonstration of the technology being discussed :)

there are more limited implementations on the Windows with both Symbian and regular Sony Ericsson handsets - offering simple next and previous functionality - but not as fuly featured as what the Salling Clicker can offer

Yes, you can try i-Clickr, which works over Bluetooth, WiFi, or GPRS. It has a presentation alarm, too.
