View Full Version : SDIO Bluetooth card--anyone used it?
Has anyone here tried to use the Socket SDIO Bluetooth card with the i600? I'm not sure if you can use that card to them connect the phone with a Bluetooth-enabled laptop (like my Thinkpad) and have it act as a wireless modem. Anybody hear anything on this front?

Has anyone determined whether this card is available and, if so, works with the i600? I called around and did several hours of research only to find that there is no SDIO card available for the i600 which would enable it to be Bluetooth enabled, despite the fact that the Verizon owner's manual says it can be done by simply buying this card.

Well.. If the manual says so, then I would think it should know. I don't have either items, so I can't say for sure. All I can say, is that very few phones actually support SDIO cards. Most SD slots are just SD. However, the i600 may be different. I would try it out and if it doesn't work, return it. ;)
