Sync Contacts by Category

Is it poissible to sync only a subset of the outloook contacts? I have too many contacts in outlook for this phone, and in any case would only want selected contacts on the phone.

You can do it in ActiveSync. By choosing the "Option" and highligh the "Contacts" and click the "Setting" button then choose the Category which you want to sync.
