Problem with SMS [Archive] - Thoughts Media Forums

I just received an SMS from a friend in my contact list, but I see just hie telephone number and not the contact name: is there something I can do to have the contact name instead of the number?
Is it a known problem or is it related to my own smartphone? It is a Qtek 7070.

Ok, I found the problem. The lookup operation does not involve the numbers you have in your SIM card, but just the contacts you created with the Smartphone (or copied from the SIM card to the phone).
