I won't buy a phone that has to have that much coddling when it comes to battery life. The speed of the phone isn't as important to me as not having to carry around an extra battery or two with me in order to use my phone all day. Or having to make sure I have a charger chord in my pocket. Until Apple solves the battery life issue that seems to be a problem currently with other phones, I doubt they will go that route. And if they did, I certainly wouldn't upgrade. What are your thoughts?</p>

No thanks. Not until the horrendous battery life gets sorted out. Check out some reviews of the new Galaxy Nexus. With LTE on and using navigation the phone was losing battery even plugged into the car charger

I had an HTC Vivid for a few days. The LTE speeds on AT&T in NYC were very impressive. However, the phone could not last a day on a charge. It didn't seem to matter how much I turned off and how low I set the brightness. It had to be recharged mid-day. I wound up returning it and getting a 4s. Not as fast to be sure but it is usable for a day's work. I'm happy with it.
