Has anyone found a review on the i600 besides PC Mag ? If anyone has one in the works we need to get it out where people can find it.

Terry <- - - - - - - is not a happy boy. My i600 didn't show up today

I found an intro piece on MobileMag...

http://www.mobilemag.com/content/100/340/C2229/

The interesting point is that 6 people rated the phone and it averaged 4 out of 10...?

I wonder if the raters have the phone, or if maybe someone didn't know which end of the scale is "good" and which is "bad"...

After the research I've done I sure wouldn't give the i600 a 4 out of 10. I hope I feel the same way after I've had it in my greedy mitts for a while (gets here Friday).

Me again...

CNet is in the process of reviewing the i600 and MPx200... writeups should appear soon. Here's what they have now:

Has anyone been able to get that extra $100 rebate they are talking about? My Verizon reps didn't know anything about it and no extra rebate offers came in the phone box. My phone was $499 with the two-year agreement.

Yeah I got the $100 instant rebate but I had to point them to Verizons press release that stated the rebate before I got it.

Where is that press release? I pointed out the Cnet article to them, but they said unless it officially came from Verizon it wasn't true.

Scroll towards the bottom of the press release:

Did you have to get the data plan on your account to get that rebate? From the press release, it sounds like you do.

Technically yes. But the people I dealt with locally didn't read that far down

I got the rebate but I also got the Unlimited PDA/SmartPhone data plan. It helps that my company is paying my bill. ;)
