I have placed 2 seperate calls to Samsung to inquire about whether the i600 can be upgraded to MS Mobile 2003. Both reps told me that the phone can be upgraded and is actually in testing as we speak. So possibly really good news :D

Does any one know if an upgrade to 2003 will fix the Caller ID problem with the i600? I'm curious because there doesn't seem to be any forward movement on getting this specific problem fixed.

This is a software problem and therefore on MS shoulders. It has something to do with the way Outlook handles contacts versus smartphone 2002 OS. I know they are aware of the problem. Has anyone noticed the same problem with the 2003 based devices like the E200?
