I have setup and used GPRS before on a MS Dev Kit red e smartphone so I am not sure what I am missing.
I have gone to GPRS connections and created one called "T-Mobile GPRS". Access point set to "internet2.voicestream.com" User name and password are blank. DNS servers set to "216.155.175.170" and "216.155.175.171". IP Address is blank. Then I set Internet connection to automatic. When I use MSN Messenger it appear fine. But PIE and Inbox both seem to connect, but then time-out when transferring data. I dial-up connection works fine. Any Ideas. I purchased this from a microsoft employee over eBay. It boots as an Evaluation Ver. E100. But i think the phone is fine. Must be some setting/tweak I am missing.\
Thanks
James

Hi!

Try removing the DNS server information. I have found that these settings are unnecessary.

Hi - I've tried setting up my SPV E100 both ways (with and without these DNS addresses) with my T-Mobile SIM and neither is working for me to connect to the Internet thru IE. I've tried telling it that it connects to the Internet, to WAP and to Secure WAP and none works - though "Internet" seems to at least attempt to connect. On my Ericsson T39 I am able to use this SIM card to connect to WAP service, so it's not to do with my T-Mobile account. Any tips/ step-by-step to offer? Thanks, Spikely

Hi!

Try setting all other data connections to 'automatic'. Leave GPRS set to your T-Mobile settings.
