Cell Newbie at TechXNY

OK I am new to all smartphones but will be at TechXNY tomorrow. This looks like the smallest PCExpo I have ever seen but HP, Microsoft, Palm Solutions Group, Samsung, T-Mobile, Toshiba and Verizon will be there. Let me know what I should be looking at for USA cell use and I will get back to you. From what I read here Samsung 600i is shipping with last year's OS while Motorola's MPx200 ships with TI's OMAP710 ARM processor and a dedicated DSP, and may have the Smartphone 2003 OS. I am hoping that Microsoft will have this phone on hand.

I was amazed at the number of major players who have pulled out of this event. A few examples that come to mind are Intel and Casio - companies with major booths over most of the history of this expo.

Forget about it! This is the TechXNY that no one showed up at - including Microsoft. I have seen exhibits and attendance at these shows going downhill for the last few years, but I don't see how it can ever bounce back after this year's show. Needless to say, there was nothing to see, no one to ask questions to and nothing to do here but leave.
