According to the article, the updates include an updated MMS client and the ability to delete all mail or SMS messages from the inbox at once. The clamshell form factor houses a 200MHz processor and 32MB of ROM, 10MB of which is user accessible. The MPx200's SD slot is SDIO-compliant and should allow meaningful peripherals to be added. Bundled software utilities include IA Style's Space Maker and a task manager to close running applications. Orange will also allow MPx200 owners access to Orange Backup to protect against data loss.

This phone might be considered a non-starter by some of our more rabid readers. Some will decry the lack of Bluetooth and others will declare the phone useless without a camera. I, personally, am disappointed that the phone isn't loaded with the next version of the Smartphone operating system. Let's look at the bigger picture, though. This looks like it will be a solid telephone from a top-tier handset maker. We also see that Orange has had enough success with its first Smartphone offerings that it has added another to its lineup. I think we can call that progress.

The Motorola MPx200 will be available from Orange in October for 239 with contract.

Considering what it offers it seems quite expensive.

it seems zdnet have already pulled that story - you can find it in search but it says it's no longer available

Strangely enough, it seems the story has been pulled - I can't find it anywhere at ZD.net UK. Hrm. :?

the article (http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/mobilephones/0,39023925,39116278,00.htm) is visible to me now.

certainly not visible to me - are they detecting IPs and denying access to certain subnets?

I'm not seeing it either now. I'm wondering if it was mistakenly posted today instead of Monday.
