So far it is only for decertified (application unlocked) Smartphones. It takes over the record button, and when pressed brings down a bar with a list of running applications, as well as some bonus information like free memory and the time. From XBar you can change applications, quit one, all or all but one application, as well as access Voice Notes in case you wanted to use the record button as it was originally intended. Best of all, Xbar is skinnable.

The original instructions are in French, but they've kindly been translated into English by a MoDaCo member and are available from the link.

Careful with this puppy. I put it in my storage card. It reset my phone and wiped out a ton of my settings.

Works great for me. The only issue I have is that, even though I have a shortcut in my startup folder, the app doesn't start automatically after powering up. I have to run it manually the first time.

Well, really haven't gotten around to testing it...

I'm still using MyTools which does pretty much the same thing... also launched with the record button.
