The ceremony is the culmination of a five month process that began with over 1600 products and involves 50 Windows Mobile expert judges worldwide. It celebrates the efforts of developers, whose products increase the enjoyment and productivity of Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone users."<br /><br />"The nominations will be finalized on July 31, 2003. In August, over 50 experts will cast their ballots for best software. Award finalists winill be announced in September. Winners will be honored in a ceremony on October 22 during the Pocket PC Summit, <a href="http://www.pocketpcsummit.com">http://www.pocketpcsummit.com</a>, held in partnership with the CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment show."<br /><br />I've been to the last two Awards ceremonies, and it's nice to see that they're expanding the scope of the event to Smartphone software this year. Thanks to Hal, Rich, Diane, and the rest of the gang at Pocket PC Magazine for organizing the event.
