Audible?

I am toying with the idea of a smartphone versus PPC phone edition. One of my holdups is I use audible a lot. Has anyone heard if they will support smartphone, either through their own software or MS Reader?

What I've heard is that they are basically waiting for consumer demand to pick up. :roll: They have a player ready to go and even demonstrated it last October at the Smartphone launch. Who wants to start up a petition? :twisted:

They probably needed time to ensure the software sucked as much on the Smartphone as it does on the Pocket PC... :lol:

Just shows though, great content will make people (well, me anyway) put up with deficiancies in the software.

I've just sent 'em an email to sweetly ask if they would consider supporting the Smartphone.

Yea, count me in as well. I can't think of a better platform for Audible than a smartphone (any make or model with any operating system). I think they're crazy if they don't release this within the next 6 months.

I don't use Audible now because 1) I don't want to carry around a seperate device just to listen to spoken word content and 2) I don't want to go through the trouble of burning a CD to listen in my car. I would use it extensively however if I could quickly and easily download it to my MPx200.
