eBay Introduces Their Own Mac App

Now eBay has finally come on board the Mac App Store train after being pretty proactive with iOS applications. The app, <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ebay/id447401799?mt=12" target="_blank">which is free</a>, will let you browse auctions, bid on items, buy items, etc. Pretty much anything you did from your browser you can do from the app. Well, except for selling. You can't sell items using the app, at least for now.&nbsp;</p>

Me too. I like apps, as opposed to limited-functionality browser-based attempts to do the same thing. In fact, I've not purchased a ChromeBook for this very reason.

I like desktop app conterparts, as long as there is no functionality lost. It also depends on how often I use the app....why waste the disk space or clutter my apps folder with another icon.

But for the most part, I'm a big fan of webapps.

Apps like this ebay app and others like Twitter for Mac, for example, remind me more of iOS/mobile apps ported to the mac...rather than directly written for the mac. (This is a good thin IMO).
