Personally, while I'm in loud support of better battery life on my phone, I'm not willing to put up with the bulk that solutions like this bring with it. Where do you sit? How much size are you willing to sacrifice to get better battery life?</p>

An absolute must if it doesn't render the device too ugly. See the HD2 as an example of how NOT to do it. That hump is hideous and frankly makes the phone terrible to handle.

I really don't get with this obsession with thinness, then having to complain that battery life is terrible. We're currently in the silly fad of making things too thin, as opposed to the silly fad of 5-6 years ago of making things too small.
