Apple asserts that Amazon's content delivery is "inferior" (not the Android OS), and that Amazon's hosting of arguably insecure apps tarnishes Apple's brand (mark), in part by allowing apps for "rooted" (or jailbroken in Apple's parlance) systems to be hosted at Amazon. I wonder if this is a bit of retribution for Amazon opening its "Mac Software Downloads"&nbsp; store to compete directly with Apple. Somebody being vindictive in Cupertino?</p>

Ok, Apple, how about a new and magical notification system for iOS 5 that you didn't copy from Android. How about a UI you didn't copy from the Nintendo Wii. How about keeping the iTunes ball and chain for iOS 5 instead of coping what Android did that just makes sense.

What's Apple talking about anyway? I think the Amazon's App store and Music store for Android are both excellent! Do any of you not like the Amazon App store? Sure, you have to keep it installed to use the apps but for a free paid app every day who cares?!?! I'm very glad to have it on my phone. It's not the only store I use but I'm very glad for it! The reviews/ratings on it are bad but I blame the users on that. I like the way it gives ways to contact the developer or amazon about an app. I also like the way it presents the app photos and video.
