Google Android is still the top operating system, however, with 36.4% of US smartphone subscribers. This is up 5.2% from the previous comScore that ended in January of 2011. Apple is also number two in the operating system rankings with 26% of the market. RIM comes in third with 25.7%, not far behind Apple. The top three are followed up by Microsoft at 6.7% and Palm with 2.6%.</p>
