I need to do more with my photographs, but since I have little experience in adjusting or manipulating them, I'm not quite sure what the best program would be for me. What are your thoughts, something like this or do you think an Adobe product is better? What do you use?&nbsp;</p>

Used to own Acorn when it was part of a MacHeist Bundle. But they quickly updated the app afterwards and my code was no longer valid.

Now I own pixelator. Great app that does everything I need. I'd still rather use photoshop but until they make a $30 version....it's pixelator for me....for now.

But Acorn IS a good app with lots of tools and filters.

I also use Acorn and Pixelmator for 'heavy lifting," but tend to use Picasa for quick and simple photo tweaks.
