So, we end up shooting pictures with our camera phones or tradition Point-and-Shoots. </p><p>A good compromise is the Micro Four-Thirds category. The sensors are not as big as those found in traditional DSLRs, but are a definite improvement from Point-and-Shoots. The lens are interchangeable and in the Panasonic Lumix GF2 and Olympus E-PL2's case, the chassis are fairly small making it more likely you'll have it with you when the occasion arises. </p><p>What is in your photo gear bag?
