The only problem I have is that it grates on me a bit to have to pay the $14.99 USD twice if I want to have it on my iPad and my iPhone, since it isn't a universal app. But I'll just have to choose and most likely it will be on my iPhone since that is usually what I check scores with anyway. If you get it now you can watch some of the Spring Training games as well as get a free preview of MBL.TV. And if you don't care about the full functionality but would still like to get stats and scores, you can always opt for the free lite version of MLB At Bat for iPhone.

Honestly, this was the first app I got when Apple started allowing Apps and created the app store, and I've bought it every year since. Last year, I bought the iPad because I saw the iPad version running on one of the iPads in the store.

Honestly, I can truthfully say that the MLB app is worth $30 if you're a big baseball fan. There really isn't much better than watching a game with the iPad version in your lap as a "scorecard" and being able to see highlights from other divisional games.

The only thing that sucks is that you can't watch local games, but since you're a rotten evil Yankees fan, you probably love that you can catch all the games on it.

Oh, and the iPhone app is pretty solid, too. They have all the spring training games on it (without lockout restrictions).

And the video highlights on both are awesome.

Honestly, I think it's worth the money for at least one, and if you're a big baseball fan, for both.
