A few days ago an update popped up in the Android Market for the official Gmail app. Not long after reports of crashing and other bad behavior caused Google to pull the update from the Market. Now today we find ourselves with an update to the last update that addresses these issues. Follow that? Great. Good news is that you can now head out to the Market and update your Gmail client and enjoy the ability to sync your custom label colors and your of you running Gingerbread get quicker access to select and copy text from emails. Any of you guys get burned by the crashing Gmail bug?

I didn't notice any problems with the app on my 2.2 Desire but may be I never got it until it had been updated. I still don't think Gmail is as good as Yahoo but because I use android I have finally transfered.
