Well, if past performance is any indicator, Verizon Wireless's Web site is already down by two strikes just going into this pre-order situation, IMNSHO. I have NEVER been able to simply log onto my VZW account, pay a bill and log off without some sort of problem, frozen page or mis-read password. Heck, half the time it's easier to reset my password than get the site to log me in normally.

Maybe it's just me, though. In any event, I'm not quite ready to put all of my eggs into the VZW basket. Besides, I'm one of those AT&T customers who's still riding the coat-tails of an old all-you-can-eat data plan, and I'd hate to give that up! ;)
