You can always pay for more, with the prices from $4.95 USD to $12.95 USD depending on the length of the flight. According to Gogo, Facebook is their most visited sight thus the tie-in with this promotion. Interesting factoid from Gogo: only 7% to 10% of all passengers on WiFi equipped planes use the WiFi service, so they certainly have room for expansion of their customer base.
