This would allow Apple fans to use their iDevice in place of a debit or credit card when paying for goods."</em></p><p><object width="600" height="360" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/2KTyFE3sfSo&amp;feature=player_embedded&amp;ap=%26fmt=18" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2KTyFE3sfSo&amp;feature=player_embedded&amp;ap=%26fmt=18" /></object></p><p>According to Bloomberg that is, but it certainly has merit based on other information out there, such as the NFC expert that <a href="http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/08/16/apple-hires-mobile-payment-expert/?partner=rss&amp;emc=rss" target="_blank">Apple hired</a> back in August and subsequent reports on the <a href="http://gizmodo.com/5614984/apple-reportedly-testing-near-field-iphone-prototypes" target="_blank">testing Apple has done</a> with this technology. Google has NFC capability in their Nexus S so it certainly isn't outlandish to think that the next iPhone will have this as well. What are your thoughts? Is this something you look forward to or are you kind of "meh" about it all?</p>
