I'm thrilled to be joining the cutting edge Thoughts Media community. I've admired the thoughtful commentary and really appreciate the chance to take a more active role. The short story on me is that for the past 17 years my day job has been as an early stage VC focused on the Internet and digital media. I've recently written a book titled Built for Change: Essential Traits of Transformative Companies about businesses that are not only successful, but change their markets, the industries, and the world around them. I'm sure we'll be discussing many of those along the way.</p><p>Given my investment background, don't be surprised if once in awhile I chime in on the business strategy as well as the technology choices of the companies looking to dominate the digital home. For now, I'm pleased to join this group and look forward to exchanging ideas with you all.</p>
