Now all you have to do it get the free app from iTunes [link] and start connecting. It's an interesting way to keep track of your connections, and where you connected, and allowing you to search via some hash tag categories (thus the name), but I don't see it making business cards obsolete just yet. There is always that awkward period, where the other person waits while you divert attention from them to your smartphone while you enter their information (almost like you are a merchant ringing up a sale and you need some information from the buyer so you can get the sale finalized) that the simple gesture of exchanging business cards avoids. Nothing to stop you from entering the information later and then disposing of the card I suppose, but on the initial meeting I doubt this would be very useful except in social interactions. But perhaps that is the reason for this app anyway, what are your thoughts?
