The report ranked the leading mobile original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and smartphone operating system (OS) platforms in the U.S. according to their share of current mobile subscribers ages 13 and older, and reviewed the most popular activities and content accessed via the subscriber's primary mobile phone."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1291645300.usr105634.jpg" /></p><p>You can see from the chart above that Google is almost to Apple, jumping up 6.5% over the months from July 2010 to October 2010. We've had several disagreements as to the validity of such scoring, but I still think it's inevitable due to the sheer number of Android phones, not to mention multiple carriers, in the marketplace. If the Verizon iPhone rumor is true though, I think you will see these figures change, in Apple's favor.&nbsp;</p>
