On one hand, it makes Gowalla more attractive as a place to do all of your check-ins, since you can do them all at once. On the other hand, it's generally not a good sign when companies start integrating their services with direct competitors. To me, it seems like an admission of defeat. So far, these features are only available on the iPhone version. The iPad version is an entirely separate app and it has yet to be updated. What do you think: is check-in integration a good choice for Gowalla?</p>
