I have not read how it actually works, but it would be interesting to put it through its paces. I suspect it is not going to be the cure all for poor skills though! If you are interested, Topaz Labs is running a promotion where you can purchase the plugin at US$29.99 instead of US$69.99; promotion ends 3rd of December. Just enter the coupon code "<strong>SuperSharp</strong>" when checking out.</p><p><em>*Apologies to Hooch for borrowing his joke.</em></p>

Basically bought sight unseen. I have several of their plug-ins and they do a pretty good job. So, I figured for $30 why not. I am not really sloppy with my photography and when you hand hold a D-SLR that weighs 4 or 5lbs you can miss a shot, even with VR/IS/OIS. So, this plug-in can come in handy at times. I will find out over the next month when I take a lot of pictures.:D

Not as good as it sounds, or looks:

I was not looking for the software to get a completely out of focus picture tact sharp after using the plug-in. The plug-in also looks to be a little more difficult to use than I anticipated. However, this is version 1. The link from the other poster was good info, however, the person using the plug-in really doesn't have any more experience than I. It will be interesting how this turns out.:)

I also purchased the plugin, what I found frustrating was the picture they show was out of focus, and after the plugin was applied it was tack sharp. I took a few pictures from my library and didn't get the same results, it was rather disappointing, but thankfully only $29 lost.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it was actually a sharp photo and they blurred it, artificially creating the "before" photo. I see that now and then, especially in books. We'll need a quantum leap forward in software design before details that aren't there become details that ARE there. Think Adobe's Content Aware Fill but 100x more powerful...it would have to understand was was SUPPOSED to be there and re-create the pixels.
