Called Price Check, the free iPhone app allows users can scan the barcode of a product, take a picture of an item or say the product's name to access product listings on Amazon.com's marketplace. If the product is listed on Amazon, customers can then purchase the item with one click."

There are a few apps out there that do this comparison shopping, but if you like the Amazon.com way, then this is the app to have. It finds the item on Amazon.com for you based on the name or the barcode. But then that would entail you actually being out there in the wild, roaming around store to store, taking pictures of the items wouldn't it? Why not cut a step out of the process and just shop online at home, either at Amazon.com or any number of retailers. But if you have to go with the family, then you might as well take this app along and see if you can save yourself some money right?
