Google has finally enabled editing of your Doc files right there in your mobile browser, provided you have Android 2.2 or newer. This feature should roll out to Google Docs users over "the next few days". Though spread sheets have been editable for quite some time now it has been impossible to edit even the simplest of text documents from your mobile device. I've tried many a program over the past few months just to edit the shopping list doc that my wife and I share. I'd find one that would work for a while then break or one that worked most of the time but would occasionally delete the entire file. Not an ideal solution. So thank you Google for finally giving me the ability to edit a simple text file from my phone! Is this new feature working for any of you guys yet?</p>

Yay! Kinda works for me now. At first it only worked on new docs I created. Then a few more started working.

Eventually I had to one and save each doc on the desktop web before the edit button would show up in the mobile web.

Oh well. Better than it was. :)
